Moving on up!

This week, Emma started in the 1-Year-Old Room at Claremont's Early Childhood Center. So far, she is LOVING her time there...though she's certainly been tired after busy, busy days. They have a full curriculum including large motor skill development, fine motor skill development, arts and crafts, reading time, circle time, singing time, nap time, etc.

Here's Emma only moments after arriving on her first day in the new classroom. As you can see, she strutted right over to one of the other children to make friends and promptly gave her "I like this place" pose.

Here is Emma pictured with two of her new teachers, Blanca and Marlene.

Yesterday, we had a big laugh about how dirty she gets from playing outside at school. Check out those knees and elbows. If that doesn't signify a busy day at school, nothing will! We're so grateful for the excellent care that Emma receives at ECC and are always amazed at her level of excitement when she arrives at school each day.

1 year old room - not yet?!?!
Overachiever!
My littlest nephew is about 14 months and just starting to walk for real (no walls or furniture)!
