Today Emma had her third visit to her pediatrician, Dr. Carrie Knoll. We've been really impressed with Dr. Knoll's care for our beautiful daughter...she's always more than willing to answer any questions we have and spends a considerable amount of time with each patient. We found out this morning that Emma is now 20 1/2 inches long and weighs 9 pounds 12 ounces (she's gained more than 2 pounds since her birth 6 weeks ago!). As part of today's doctor visit, Emma had to get 3 shots. Despite the pain, she was a real trooper and impressed her Mama with her braveness. She's had a bit of a fever this afternoon and is extra sleepy, but she seems to be recovering nicely. Thank the Lord for Infant Tylenol!

Such a brave girl!!

She is so cute and BIG! I wish she was this awake whenever I see her? And did Aunt Laura name Calvin after the college? hahaha, I love it!
