In honor of Valentine's Day and the fact that this is one of the last weekends we'll be a childless couple, we decided to head to the desert for one last get-away this weekend. Matt booked a swanky hotel in Palm Springs and we made the hour and a half trip complete with unseasonably warm 85 degree temperatures and the bright California sunshine. It was so nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of work and to relax and reflect on the blessings of the past several months. Most importantly, we really appreciated an opportunity to chat about what we most look forward to and to honestly share our desires for the coming years with our daughter. It was a very special weekend and we thank God for 5 years of marriage!

One Last Get-Away...
