Emma back to full health!

Emma came home from the hospital on Wednesday after six days and five nights. We were blessed to have great care from the doctors and nurses and praise God for her full recovery from the pnuemonia!


This is Emma in her bed, which doubled as her play area for most of the time when she had to be in the oxygen tent (behind her there).


This is Emma's new friend Cheri, the night shift nurse that we loved who did a great job caring for Emma. Emma often would ask for her other nurse friends, Aunt Becky, Mary and Karen.


This is a picture of our side of the room with her IV tower and the monitors. Emma got to stay really close to these things for her stay in the hospital.

Thank you to everyone that prayed for Emma, called to find out more and brought food and their company during the hospital stay. We learned how privileged we are to have great health care and hope that we can work so that everyone can get the kind of care they deserve when they are sick. We may have some more pictures later...
