Perhaps a boy?

So....after much anticipation, we're writing to let you know that the ultrasound this afternoon was inconclusive. Bummer! :(

During the initial phase of the ultrasound (when it's just Sarah and the ultrasound tech in the room), she made the comment "I just got a good shot and it looks like a boy!". When Matt came in about 30 minutes later, she tried and tried to get a shot of the appropriate area on the baby but to no avail. Alas, she left us with a "I'm so sorry but I'm not able to confirm anything...it's inconclusive." We're disappointed that we didn't get a definite answer but we're thinking that she probably wouldn't have made her initial comment had she not seen something that made her think it was a boy. We shall see!

We don't have another ultrasound planned at this point in time so we're not sure when we'll have another look at the baby. We'll keep you all posted!

The great news is that the baby looks very healthy and the radiologist tech repeatedly told us how active it was and how it seems to have a mind of its own. That's our baby! :)
