In honor of our 5-year wedding anniversary, we decided to head down to San Diego this past weekend. While there, we stayed at the Omni Hotel right in the Gaslamp District (right near the marina...lots of shops and restaurants). We also managed to visit SeaWorld and caught the Padres game.
It was a great game. San Diego played St. Louis and the Padres scored 6 runs in the 5th Inning. They won the game 10-8. Quite an eventful afternoon...and Emma's 3rd professional sporting event in her 3 short months of life.
The hotel was beautiful (check out how big the bed was compared to little Emma!), the weather was gorgeous, the entertainment was great and the best part of all was the company (did I mention how much I love my husband?). As we drove back into town this evening, we both agreed that this was one of our favorite trips ever. What an amazing 5 years it has been...
